The Major leagues

Keep an eye out for the wildlife that call RMNP home, including three-toed woodpeckers and gray jays, alongside chipmunks, moose and deer.

If you want to explore as much of the park as possible, there are scenic driving routes to immerse yourself into this epic parkland. Trail Ridge Road is the highest paved highway in the whole of Colorado, with breathtaking alpine views stretching for miles in all directions. The Old Fall River Road is the first driving road in the park but is only open between July and September due to the weather.
