Hertz Gold Plus Reward Points are earned and redeemed on the per day, time, and mileage charges only and have no cash value. Points cannot be earned or redeemed on taxes, fees, or options. Points will not be earned on free day reward rentals.

Points are valid for five years from the date that they were earned. If a Hertz Gold+ member does not redeem their points within a five-year-period, the points will be considered forfeited and removed. This five-year point expiration does not apply to residents of Canada.
In addition to the expiration policy above, all points in a Hertz Gold+ member’s account will be forfeited and removed from a member’s account after twelve months of no rental activity. Rental activity means a Hertz Gold+ point was either earned or redeemed on a rental. Point transfer to a partner company does not count as rental activity.
Bonus points. Many times points earned in connection with a limited-time promotion (“Bonus Points”), will carry an earlier expiration date. This date will always be disclosed in the terms and conditions of the Bonus Points promotion.

If you cancel or terminate your Hertz Gold+ membership, Hertz believes any of your rental activity to be fraudulent, or you are prohibited from future rentals with Hertz, Hertz will remove and you will forfeit your Hertz Gold+ balance without any alternate compensation.
